My stay at Quinta Das Escomoeiras was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Mr. Fernando with a bottle of his delicious wine and a generous spread of cheese and charcuterie, setting the tone for a remarkable experience. The location itself is a hidden gem, surrounded by a picturesque vineyard and offering panoramic views of the stunning Tamega Valley. The meticulously designed rooms, complete with vintage furniture and parquet floors, exuded charm and sophistication, exceeding my expectations in every way. The highlight for me was enjoying breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens, filled with flowers, vegetables, and even some friendly animals-a true delight for the senses. The swimming pool, nestled amidst the verdant surroundings, provided a tranquil retreat, while the nearby river beach and cycle path added to the allure of the property. Free bike rentals allowed me to explore the charming town of Amarante along the ecopista, adding an extra layer of adventure to my stay.Mr. Fernando's attention to detail and passion for hospitality were evident in every aspect of my visit, from the delectable homemade marmalades served at breakfast to the well-equipped summer kitchen area where I enjoyed a delightful barbecue by the pool. Quinta Das Escomoeiras truly stands out as a haven of relaxation and authentic charm, offering a unique experience that left a lasting impression on me.
