As a surf instructor and avid traveler from Milan, Italy, my recent family vacation at Quinta Das Escomoeiras in Portugal left a lasting impression. The stunning location in the heart of the Tamega Valley provided us with breathtaking panoramic views and a serene river beach where my kids had a blast building sandcastles. Fernando, the owner, warmly welcomed us, making us feel at home with a bottle of his exquisite wine, which we savored along with a generous platter of cheese and charcuterie.The family-friendly amenities, such as the refreshing swimming pool and the opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens, vineyard, and woodland, were a hit with my children. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast on the terrace, relishing the homemade jams and fresh fruits grown on-site. Our stay was truly relaxing, and my kids were thrilled to have the freedom to roam the grounds safely.Quinta Das Escomoeiras provided us with a memorable family retreat, and I highly recommend it to families seeking a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for their vacation.
